AGC Pharma Chemicals has formalized its commitment to diversity and inclusion in the workplace by joining Fundación Diversidad’s Diversity Charter, Europe’s largest business movement promoting diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
The Diversity Charter is a manifesto that promotes 10 European principles reflecting companies’ and institutions’ commitment to equal opportunities in the workplace. Regardless of gender, age, disability, ethnic origin, sexual orientation or any other individual, social or cultural characteristic, signatory organizations recognize and value diversity as a fundamental asset for business success and sustainability.
By joining the Charter, AGC Pharma Chemicals strengthens its commitment to creating a workplace where different experiences, perspectives and backgrounds can contribute to the development of both its people and the organization.
The Diversity Charter is a manifesto based on 10 European principles that promote equal opportunities and respect for diversity within organizations. Its signatories recognize and value diversity, regardless of gender, age, disability, ethnic origin, sexual orientation or any other individual, social or cultural circumstance.

The 10 principles of the Diversity Charter are:
1. Raise awareness of equality and respect for diversity as company values.
2. Increase workforce diversity by integrating people from diverse backgrounds.
3. Promote inclusion and prevent all forms of discrimination in the workplace.
4. Incorporate diversity into all people management policies.
5. Promote work-life balance and shared responsibility in working arrangements.
6. Recognize customer diversity as a source of innovation.
7. Communicate the organization’s commitment to diversity to all employees.
8. Extend this commitment to suppliers.
9. Extend this commitment to third-party organizations.
10. Communicate diversity and inclusion policies and the results achieved.
Joining the Charter supports AGC Pharma Chemicals’ continued efforts to build a corporate culture where people can grow professionally in an environment grounded in respect and equal opportunities, and where diverse perspectives also contribute to collaboration and innovation.
Fundación Diversidad promotes the Diversity Charter in Spain with the support of the European Commission and the national Diversity Charters of each European Union country, encouraging the adoption of inclusive workplace practices. More than 1,600 organizations in Spain and 17,500 across the European Union have signed this commitment.
